Every day a #PlannedCollapse is delayed, a horrifically unjust collapse becomes that much worse. Denigrating and silencing those who recognise the severity of our predicament and who work for the radical change, delays a #PlannedCollapse.
Professor Michael E Mann and others in the #NewDenial are obstructing a #JustCollapse; a deliberate contraction of the human enterprise with justice front and centre.

Celebrity climate communicator, Professor Michael E. Mann is controlling climate discourse by making inaccurate claims that downplay the severity of our predicament, labelling experts, activists and concerned citizens who disagree either ‘doomers’ and/or ‘bad actors’. This is unacceptable and dangerous.
Professor Mann must stop controlling climate discourse and must engage in free and fair debate. Only a collapse-conscious citizenry can bring about the change required.
Distinguished Professor Michael E Mann has made a name for himself by stepping outside science and entering the political fray of climate politics. He promotes the idea that talking about #collapse is ‘doomerism’, and he is instrumental in shutting down conversations about the severity of our predicament, and the radical change required if we are to meaningfully address collapse. He denigrates climate activists by inferring that they are aligned with the interests of the fossil fuel industry; blocks people on Twitter for simply asking questions; and, encourages others to block and dismiss valid concerns by collapse-conscious citizens. Yet as a gatekeeper of climate discourse, here he is talking about… well, it sounds an awful lot like collapse!

As well as failing on CO2, until a #PlannedCollapse of the human enterprise is on the agenda, COP is ecocide. The Earth is in #ExtremeOvershoot due to the legacy of colonization, the continuance of extractive industry, and infinite growth (e.g. energy, consumption, population). The failure of the climate/environmental movement means that alternative approaches to action are urgently needed for a #JustCollapse. End the #NewDenial and quit the #hopium, because: ‘When you give up on hope, you turn away from fear… And when you quit relying on hope, and instead begin to protect the people, things, and places you love, you become very dangerous indeed to those in power.’
We need a different plan. A plan for a #JustCollapse.
