The Just Collapse platform is hosted by Associate Professor Kate Booth in the School of Geography, Planning, and Spatial Sciences at the University of Tasmania, Australia. This platform is a natural extension of the School’s priorities of climate adaptation, justice, resilience, and planning. It is aligned with the University’s vision for equity and sustainability and ranking as #1 university in the world on climate action.
Research collaborators include Dr Kathy Allen, Dr Francisco Gelzes-Gomez, Dr Alex Burton, and PhD candidates Tom Hooper and Lars Rogers.
We welcome approaches from potential Honours, Masters, and PhD students, collaborations with established researchers and research programs, or left wing activists with a critical interest in collapse. Please contact A/Prof Kate Booth in the first instance.
Available PhD project: Geographies of Collapse and Resilience (also adaptable to Honours or Masters).
