Climate overshoot is the idea that we can exceed 1.5C and still return to a safe and stable climate. This BS is peddled by the IPCC and climate influencers. Exceeding 1.5C means irreversible climate change with new science demonstrating that, “from a climate justice perspective, overshoot entails socioeconomic impacts and climate-related loss and damage that are typically irreversible and fall most severely on poor people.” Another reason why we stand for a #JustCollapse.

While the conclusions you reach are quite valid, the terminology you use or cite is, as I pointed out before, off.
“Climate overshoot” means racing past the ecological supports to continued human living through global industrial civilization. It is a thoroughly documented overarching fact, not BS.
“Safe climate overshoot” is the bullshit you are referring to.

We agree about ecological (climate) overshoot, but the terminology used in the science we posted is ‘climate overshoot’ re overshooting 1.5C. It is not the same as ecological (climate) overshoot. Agree this could be confusing!

That would be a yes as to complete confusion – ecological (climate) overshoot is not the same as climate overshoot? Why create complete confusion on a topic as important and dire as this through unneeded semantic doubletalk?
