Fewer than 50 million people inhabited the Earth when this magnificent tree was a sapling. After 50 years of overshoot, driven largely by the affluent west, we face collapse as we continue to use more of the Earth than can be replenished and pollute more than can be absorbed.
There is no time left now to ‘control population’ but for those with the capacity, choosing to not have children now means less who will suffer horrifically during the grim end of collapse. Collapse is inevitable, but justice is not. A #PlannedCollapse is a #JustCollapse.
