Chris writes “We live moment to moment, illusion to illusion” but he should also have included “lie to lie”. We listen to the lies we are told (by our leaders) and we believe them because we don’t want to accept what we know is the truth, this is cognitive dissonance on a mass scale. We are indeed capable of rational and logical thought but it is emotion that rules our lives. People believe what they want to believe, simple as that……even if it kills them.
