Distinguished Professor Michael E Mann has made a name for himself by stepping outside science and entering the political fray of climate politics. He promotes the idea that talking about #collapse is ‘doomerism’, and he is instrumental in shutting down conversations about the severity of our predicament, and the radical change required if we are to meaningfully address collapse. He denigrates climate activists by inferring that they are aligned with the interests of the fossil fuel industry; blocks people on Twitter for simply asking questions; and, encourages others to block and dismiss valid concerns by collapse-conscious citizens. Yet as a gatekeeper of climate discourse, here he is talking about… well, it sounds an awful lot like collapse!

I think most people, even smart ones like Dr. Mann, can’t handle the truth, but do come around in time.
